At Halloween we have the opportunity to be someone else.  Or at least dress that way.  Much like a writer who gets to become a character and do something they’d never do in real life.  Dressing like a naughty nurse, she-devil or catwoman can be fun for a few hours.  Just like reading a book can take you away to a place where making love to two people at once can be a fantasy that you’d probably never play out in real life.

Lets look at it from the Facebook realm.  You can give yourself any name and most people won’t know that your name is a combination of your favorite trashy novel heroes or the Queens of Henry the VIII or even a notorious slave owner.  You can live in Maine or New Zealand or Jacksonville, Florida even though you may live three doors down from me in the Twin Cities area.  Yes, I really do live in the Twin Cities.

You can lie about your age, sex, marital status, employer and every post can be your character not you.  But at what point is Halloween over?  When do you hang up the stethoscope, strip down and throw on your sweats?  When do you stop playing pretend?

Much like your naughty nurse there is a part of you there.  Maybe it’s the red hair you got from your mother’s side of the family or maybe it’s the fact that deep down you’re a Vikings fan.  You’ll have to determine what part of you you’ll allow the world to see.

I’m bad at lying, that doesn’t make me a better person than you, but it makes me a horrible actress and I find it hard to maintain my persona for more than a few hours.  Although I can have my characters fight on Facebook, my naughty writer persona has more of me than I expected.  I wanted Sammy to be the opposite of me, but I couldn’t.  Although Samantha Pleasant may be me without the censor button, there’s still a censor on her, because no matter what, Samantha is me.  She’ll never be a slut or a whore to anyone but her man.  She’ll write about lines I could never cross sexually, but deep down she has the soft gooey center that I always get made fun of for having.

In my first erotica short story, Summer School, Stacy ends up in bed in between Len and Harrison only to discover their love of her.  WTF, right?  My next book is Fall Sports that turns a student pleasuring his professor for a good grade only to have love happen in the end.  Who knew that taboo sexual experiences could lead to love?  Me, I guess.  The real me, not the naughty nurse me.  The one who’s marriage was based on a taboo that was crossed.  What can I say deep down I was raised on 80’s Rom Coms and even when three guys end up in the same bed with a girl I like to believe that deep down they care for her and it wasn’t just Halloween.

Today is the day that Summer School is back in session.  To celebrate I've got some bookmarks and some gift cards to get you ready for class.

Summer School is the first in a series that follows different couples over a year of school at Arista University.  The next in the series is Fall Sports, followed by Winter Break then Spring Recruit.

Stacy is waiting out the long weekend before summer school begins when she sees her booty call walking across the quad.  Remembering a conversation they'd had about him being stuck in summer school, too, Stacy realizes she's got an opportunity to make the weekend a lot more satisfying.

When she gets to Harrison's door, she learns his roommate, Len, is also in summer school. Harrison convinces Stacy that Len's dead to the world and won't hear them having sex.  Stacy wants to say no but Harrison's smooth talk and soft touches overwhelms Stacy's fear of being caught.

Lost in an orgasm, Stacy feels Len sliding up behind her and a day between the two roommates uncovers hidden feelings for Stacy both Len and Harrison had been trying to suppress.  By the end of the night, Stacy will learn more about her body, love and what can come when two men's only desire is to please her.

Please check out my Stories page to learn more about the next season on campus.

My first blog post I planned on introducing myself to you.  I planned on saying hi my name is Samantha but you can call me Sammy.  I chose this name because my first pet, a little kitty, was named Samantha and like all little kitties I like to be petted.  I wanted to share with you some sweet words and promise you that I’d fill your ereaders… and maybe some day your hands with books that will stimulate and arouse.

But as my page filled with new friends and fans alike I shared some of my passions.  I showed you pictures of people that have influenced characters and scenes.  Sparking that little part of me that likes to tell stories.  I tried to share a piece of me.

The response was a mixture of comments about the people in the shots to the actual shots themselves.  Photographic skill in lighting and angles were actually discussed while looking at a beautiful couple in an embrace.  People find safety through the of the autonomy of the internet had to bring morality and politics on to my page.

This escaladed to the point where it was brought up that black men were stealing white women and leaving black women alone.  Now, I have to say that being someone who’s been married for fifteen years to a seven foot Mandingo BUCK, this was a first for me.

Oh yes I’ve heard that races shouldn’t mix…blah blah…I’m bored…think of the children...blah…blah.  You’re mom’s just mad your dad slipped when he stickin’ in her ass and actually came in her snatch.  I’m sorry didn’t they tell you about your conception.  My bad.

The children…the poor innocent children.  My son’s an honor student, exceptional athlete (but then again he is black and we’re talking stereotypes now right), and never knew he was black until he went to school.  Before that my son was an ignorant son of bitch (yes I know I just called myself a bitch I’m well aware) that thought he was human.  WTF right?  Seriously.

So why was this comment a first.  Sit down my little naughty friends and let me tell you a tale.  Remember my dear ones we’re talking stereotypes.  Yes we all grew up with the warnings as little white girls that black men may come snatch us in the night.  It’s not really their fault, they can’t control themselves, you see, around us white women.  Much like a vampire or werewolf or some other beast that has a thirst that can only be satisfied by one thing.  A white girls pussy.  Because you see the white girls have the magical pussies with lollipops and glitter.  They come fully stocked with butt plugs and set of handcuffs.  Those poor, poor black women just don’t have a chance.  SERIOUSLY.

If you’re going to be ignorant at least get the stereotype right.  Black guys get STOLEN by white girls from black girls because we go down on them at least three times a day and black girls have a job and just don’t have the time.  I mean really.  That’s like people who try to commit suicide by taking eight regular strength Tylenols.  At least go for the PM so there’s actually a chance you might die.

Now you’ve met Sammy.  She likes black, yellow, orange, green and even white men.  Hell if Jessica Alba’s available she’d switch teams for a night. I wanted to be sweet.  I wanted to be a lady like my editor says I have to be.  But damn it.  My first book has double penetration and the one I have planned to be third has a girl filling every hole at once.  I’m fun at parties and will get you wet or hard.  Either way at the end of my books you’ll have looked into a relationship that shows love, in all its crazy shades, because gray is just one color on the spectrum and limits aren’t my thing.

Guess it’s time I introduce myself.  I’ve already had my first guest author and I plan on having many more to come.  I love having authors on and digging around to learn more about who they are.  So with out further a due my name is Samantha Pleasant and on this blog I plan to have naughty fun with friends.  That being said this is just an intro for what’s to come.

I chose this name because my first pet, a little kitty, was named Samantha and like all little kitties I like to be petted.  I wanted to share with you some sweet words and promise you that I’d fill your ereaders… and maybe some day your hands with books that will stimulate and arouse.

My plan right now is to once a week, give you my thoughts on what’s going on around the world and in my backyard.  I’m sure I’ll host giveaways and share a few of my favorite things…on the rare occasion I’ll pull you up right next to me and let you snuggle in.

That being said I’ve had something’s that lately have upset me.  I had a full on snarky blog written ready to explain exactly how wrong some people are.  Sarcasm flowed from my fingertips like water from the tap, but that would just give that person what they wanted.  A platform to continue to spew hate.  It would allow them to be able to share their misguided thoughts with those who think the same way and for that reason I saved my document then restarted my intro again.

It’s all about me this time.  I’m in the author spotlight today.  Sorry I won’t let anyone steal my moment in the sun.  This will be your time to ask questions and give suggestions.  I’m great at researching and trying to give you a full view of topic…coming up with topics, well that’s every bloggers hardest task.  Luckily a recent release by one of my author friends gave a great start.  In the coming weeks I’m going to be delving into the D/s world and hosting a few wonderful authors on the subject…I tell you more but dang it…this is about me.

Alright, in my books you’ll find love in various shades, combinations and scenarios.  My characters will allow you to see into them and hopefully you’ll feel that tug when you get the end of a book wanting more.  Don’t worry I’ll be here to provide it.  And by the end of my books you’ll have looked into a relationship that shows love, in all its crazy shades, because gray is just one color on the spectrum and limits aren’t my thing.

Here’s what’s in store for you for October.  Summer School.
